About the Library
A public library with a broad humanitarian profile, three reading rooms and regular cultural events
The Aafjes Amsterdam Public Library contains 100 thousand editions, including books and magazines, audio books, documentaries and records.

The library has two reading rooms with working areas and one computer room where you can use the resources of our electronic catalog. Here you also can get informational advice, use a printer and drink fresh coffee. The entry to the library is free, but in order to take the literature to your home, you need to issue a library card.
